We are pleased to announce the New York Council on Child and Adolescent Psychiatry President-Elect, Angel Caraballo, MD.
Dr. Caraballo is currently a board certified-child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist in private practice on the Upper West Side. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at Columbia University Medical Center and served as Medical Director of the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital School Based Mental Health Program. Dr. Caraballo completed his medical school and training at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia and Cornell Programs; Columbia Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research; SUNY-Stony Brook, and Instituto Tecnologico de Santo Domingo. In addition to his role on the New York Council’s International Committee; Dr Caraballo is extremely active with AACAP and APA.
